About the Artist

Joan lives and maintains a studio in Mena, Arkansas. 

Her work has been included in solo and juried group exhibitions at the Museo Nacional de Costa Rica; Taipinqiri Gallery, La Paz, Bolivia; the Arkansas Arts Center Delta shows; and the Arkansas Arts Council "Small Works on Paper" traveling exhibitions.  Her paintings are in the collections of Lachner and Saenz Corporation, Chiquita Brands International, and Arkansas Children's Hospital.

Joan holds a MFA degree in painting and drawing from the University of Arkansas, Fayetteville.
